The official kick-off-meeting (KoM) of the project MarSP – Maritime Spatial Planning, which took place in the city of Horta in Faial Island on 10th and 11th of January, was a complete success.
This meeting was attended by several representatives of the nine partners of the project. In addition, this KoM also had the presence of several invited MarSP Advisory Board from Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO MAPAMA, Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Environment (MAPAMA) of the Government of Spain, University of the Azores, University of Aveiro, and MARE (Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre).
During this two-days meeting, the participants had the opportunity to know the partners and the project working teams, and to discuss in more detail the project through a technical workshop. In this workshop it was discussed the work to be implemented, the deliverables, and the possible outputs from other WP’s.
As result of this workshop, Partners and Advisory Board members developed a working document, that collects the discussion and details of the operational working plan, including responsibilities, tasks participation, and deliverables.
