Summary Report

This report corresponds to Deliverable 4.9. "Stakeholder's Workshop in the Canary Islands to inform and start discussion on the main characteristics of the Maritime Spatial Plan proposal with stakeholders and concerned authorities", integrated in the WP4 "Development of the Marine Spatial Planning processes", within the project "Marine Spatial Planning in the Macaronesia" (MarSP). Among the actions of the MarSP project, it is important to be able to count from the early stages with the participation and collaboration of all users, concerned authorities from various sectors related to the marine environment in the Canarian waters. The document presents the results of the workshop that has been held in the Canary archipelago. The workshop, entitled “MarSP Project (Macaronesian Maritime Spatial Planning) - Inform, discuss and train on Marine Spatial Planning in the Canary Islands”, was held in a single session on November 6th in the Gran Canaria island, where 45 representatives from different marine and/or maritime sectors attended.
