The Deliverable MarSP & PLASMAR Capacity Building Workshop was developed under the WP.5 MSP Data Interoperability and MSP Platforms.

Deliverable Summary

Capacity Building Session was held on 20th April 2018, at Lagoa City, São Miguel, Azores. It was delivered as a collaboration of two projects that deal with Maritime Spatial Planning thematic in the Macaronesian Region - MarSP & PLASMAR. Capacity Building session focused on the basis of data management applied in Maritime Spatial, concepts of spatial data infrastructures, including identification of data collection nodes delivered by Global/European data initiatives. Further, capacity Building Workshop included "Hands On" sessions where participants has a possibility to use specialized software and to learn how to develop metadata, share and harvest data, using standards within INSPIRE Network services.
